A family of light: the Prophet (PBUH) and the Ahlulbayt (AS)

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had one daughter, Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra (AS), who married Imam Ali (AS). Their children included Imam Hasan (AS), Imam Hussain (AS) and Sayyida Zaynab (AS). The line of the Imams continued through Imam Hussain (AS), each Imam the son of the one before, to Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi (AS).

Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra (AS)فاطمة الزهراء Daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Wife of Imam Ali (AS).Imam Ali (AS)علي بن أبي طالب Imam number 1. The first Imam. Husband of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra (AS).
